A radiator is used to help keep the engine cool. During operation, the engine’s moving parts create friction, which produces heat. The coolant will lose its heat into the atmosphere and is then pumped back into the engine where it absorbs and removes more of the engine’s heat. This can help keep the engine from overheating. Having the radiator maintained can also help to prevent a costly repair bill if the vehicle has a breakdown.Note1. The radiator cap that has not passed the test can’t release the pressure when it reaches the pressure value.
2. The damaged thermostat is unable to carry out a large cycle, resulting in a continuous increase in the radiator pressure.
